MSSTRAM Session 5: Industry Life Cycle

It was also during that day we created our group presentation for the next topic which was Industry Life Cycle and we still chose Telecommunication as our group topic.

Each brand have their products which were Handset, Landline, Mobile Data, SMS, Call and Postpaid Plan. And for each product have their corresponding current phase on the life cycle. From that we need to know what are the technologies or system they used.

For the analysis, we also need to know where they are in the life cycle and to provide suggestions of what strategy to use.

Industry Life Cycle

I learned that, life cycle approach can help us make choices. It implies that everyone in the whole chain of a product’s life cycle, from cradle to grave, has a responsibility and a role to play, taking into account all the relevant impacts on the economy, the environment and the society.


The impacts of all life cycle stages need to be considered comprehensively by the citizens, the companies and the governments, when they make decisions on consumption and production patterns, policies and management strategies can also be in terms of benefits for industries, governments and consumers.

It felt so good to be acknowledged on what our group had done for the report presentation. We only minimized few statements and added suggestions of what strategy those firms to use to attain their successful phase.
